Designed to introduce the subject of centrifugal pump hydraulic design to those students who have a general technical background in pump engineering. This course would also be of interest to anyone involved in pump hydraulic design from trainee hydraulic designers to those more experienced looking to improve their contribution to pump engineering.

 COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course examines the factors that need to be considered in pump hydraulic design. Using presentation, exercises and a practical approach to what is a complex subject

• Understand pump performance and the influence of key design parameter
• Be able to evaluate hydraulic aspects of centrifugal pump design
